An air handler that is leaking water on the floor may be the result of a few issues.

The spitting water coming from an ac unit is due to the slinger ring that collects water present in the drain pan and splashes it to the coils for cooling purposes.
In order to prevent this simply add a tablespoon of bleach twice a year to the tray.
Often water leaking is a result of water in the drain pipe building up instead of being dispersed by the condenser.
If however your danby air conditioner is leaking water outside of the system or it is leaking coolant there are a few things you should consider.
